Interaction effects. The experiments were largely run independently. We cannot fully account for interaction effects between variables. For example, the benefit of attribute reduction may depend on the specific layout structure, and vice versa. Sequential testing or factorial designs would be needed to isolate these interactions.

Temporal effects. User expectations for comparison experiences evolve over time. The interactive builder result, for example, may partly reflect a novelty effect that could diminish as builder experiences become more common. Longitudinal retesting would be needed to assess durability.
