Outcome metrics capture whether the customer is achieving their stated goals with the product. This requires understanding what the customer is trying to accomplish and tracking whether the product is helping them accomplish it. A customer using the product regularly but failing to achieve their outcomes will eventually leave for a solution that delivers better results.
The Psychology of Effective Interventions
